JOB REQUISITION Buyer EMEA (w/m/d) LOCATION FRANKFURT MAINZER ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS COLOGNE, DÜSSELDORF JOB DESCRIPTION Reports to: Senior Manager Procurement & Sustainability EMEA To contribute to our “Great Place to Work” this position will be a key-player in the centralization of procurement in all European branches and service centers. The holder of this role collaborates closely with other corporate teams (e.g., Health & Safety, Facilities, Real Estate), forms part of the International Zone and is incorporated in the EMEA Real Estate and Workplace Services department which services Robert Half as well as Protiviti. Location: Frankfurt, Cologne or Düsseldorf Principal Accountabilities and Duties: Support the strategic sourcing, the tactical purchasing and contracting function of the procurement organization. Partner with teams and build relationships with customer groups and stakeholders from all departments. Establish and manage relationships with vendors for the purpose of procuring and/or contracting goods and services. Improve cost, process efficiencies, and ensure the quality of vendor relationships. RFX: Lead the sourcing process from bid preparation to contract execution, partnering with the business team (customer) to document requirements, ensuring pricing, terms & conditions, performance requirements and service delivery terms are in line with company standards. Process incoming purchase requests and managing invoicing issues. Facilitate non-disclosure agreements, contract extensions, terminations, or amendments. Perform contract renewal analysis. Uploading and managing all (IT) procurement contracts within the contract database. Benchmark (IT) procurement activities from the different departments identifying risks and benefits associated with each opportunity. Perform spend analysis and set-up procurement dashboard. Portfolio: professional services, office supplies, fleet, software licenses, facility services, among others. Profile: Several years of relevant experience working in (indirect) procurement. Ideally in an international (multi-site) office environment. Experience in IT procurement is a big plus. Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English and German. One other European languages like Italian, French or Dutch are a plus, due to collaboration with international colleagues Have a vast interest in sustainable procurement and Corporate Responsibility (ESG). Very good negotiation and relationship management skills. High attention to detail. Ability to analyze problems and situations and provide innovative ideas and solutions. Communicate effectively with all levels of management both orally and in writing and provide sound rationale for recommendations. Work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects. ERP experience is a plus (workday financials / PeopleSoft) Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Willingness to travel occasionally in Europe.
