Medical Science Liaison Manager (m/w/d)

Our client is a global healthcare company specializing in cancer pain management and specialty care therapeutic areas. The company operates in multiple countries and is committed to providing optimal healthcare solutions for patients, caregivers, and healthcare practitioners. The company also works in the field of severe infectious diseases and has one groundbreaking innovative new drug for severe infectious diseases in the hospital environment.
To help patients get access to this new treatment and to save lives, we are looking for an engaged Medical Science Liaison Manager (m/w/d) with experience as an MSL or as a Sales Representative in Pharma Field Sales who wants to develop into an MSL role. The start is planned as soon as possible.
In this position, you will:
* Support medical projects and foster scientific exchange with leading experts, particularly in connection with the launch of an innovative drug in the field of infectious diseases.
* Provide scientific support and management for Key External Experts (KEEs), particularly in the clinical setting.
* Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs and internal teams.
* Analyze healthcare structures and guidelines to optimally prepare for product launches.
* Conduct literature reviews and attend conferences to stay updated on current developments and competitor products.
* Create and deliver scientific presentations to doctors, medical professionals, and patient organizations.
* Participate in national and regional expert meetings and speaker training sessions.
* Implement clinical projects, including Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs) and non-interventional studies (NIS).
Your Profile:
* Completed degree in Medicine, Life Sciences, or Pharmacy – ideally with a PhD.
* Experienced MSL, ideally in Infectious Diseases, Intensive Care, Oncology, or Specialty Care.
* This position is also suitable for experienced Area Managers, Key Account Managers, or Therapy Area Managers who are looking to take the next career step towards an MSL role.
* Strong communication skills and scientific expertise – confident in dealing with medical experts.
* An open-minded, flexible, hands-on approach and mindset, team player working towards common goals with the team, strong networker, reliable relationship builder, confident communicator.
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
* Project management skills and proficiency in common IT tools (especially PowerPoint).
* Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
