Our client are a leading European construction company offering a comprehensive range of services across the construction value chain, including building construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, and environmental engineering
With approximately 20,665 employees and a production output of around EUR 6.6 billion in 2023, they operate across Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Romania and many more.
Your Role
As the business continues to expand, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Contract Manager to support them on the different projects they have in Germany.
You will be ideally based in Germany and you will have experience with contract and claims management ideally on tunnelling projects.
Responsibilities will include drafting claims, change orders, variation orders as well as contract negotiation and claims management.
Native or full professional Germany proficiency is a must.
You
As an experienced Contract Manager, fluent in German, you will be a degree-qualified quantity surveyor, engineer or construction manager. You will know about employer and subcontractor management, have knowledge of FIDIC contract, contract negotiation and drafting, claims and variation orders. Furthermore, it is essential that you have experience writing claims letters and drafting contract narratives. Finally, you will have a stable work history and will be seeking a permanent appointment with the business in Germany.
