Job Description:
The Chief Risk Office function has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, operational, enterprise and liquidity risks and has the responsibility of continual development of methods for risk measurement, frameworks and creating a bank wide strong risk culture.
Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) is a department within the Risk Division. As a Second Line of Defence function, NFRM is responsible for oversight across all aspects of non-financial risk (NFR), including risk identification and assessment, control framework, risk appetite and scenario analysis.
This role will support the NFR Digital Assets and Artificial Intelligence (AI) team who are responsible for the development and implementation of the frameworks to support the risk management of these emerging topics globally. The role is a unique opportunity to work in two of the most future-oriented and dynamic topics in todays rapidly evolving business landscape. You will closely work with a small team with many opportunities to grow and become an expert in AI and Digital Asset technologies.
Your key responsibilities
This Berlin based role will support the AI and Digital Assets team in NFRM. This role, is responsible for supporting:
* Creation of a comprehensive risk profile for AI and Digital Assets technology and products
* Review of AI use cases and engagement with business stakeholders to provide requirements and NFRM expectations
* Assessment of Digital Assets NPA/NTA and other related assessments
* Risk reporting into risk governance and regulatory bodies
* Development and enhancement of the AI and Digital Assets frameworks including control requirements and risk appetite
* Knowledge of the regulatory environment and ensuring compliance with it
Your skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have:
* University degree preferably in natural science, engineering, econometrics, technology, and data science
* 4-8 years of relevant work experience, ideally with experience from the financial industry
* Strong understanding of AI and Digital Assets and associated risks
* Project management skills
* Ability to work independently and to work effectively with cross divisional teams and disciplines
* Fluent in English and good communication skills, ability to manage (senior) stakeholders and explain complicated topics
* Excel, Word, Confluence
