As Account Manager (Semi) Permanent POS / Print, you work within our successful Client Services team.
The Account Manager works closely with the Account Director and/or (Senior) Account Manager and the Order Managers to ensure that (new) client projects are handled in the right way and are processed to facilitate business growth. This involves a high standard of service and offering the best (sustainable) options with the highest quality.
The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day contact with our clients and the ‘face’ of APS while mainly managing projects as also processing production orders. Together with the Account Director and /or (Senior) Account Managers, they are responsible for service, processes, costs, and turnover.
This is a hybrid, preferably full time role - we are looking for somebody based in the Hamburg area - other German regions to be discussed. You will mainly work from your home office, will visit your main client / account in Hamburg, and regularly visit our offices located near Amsterdam (Halfweg) to collaborate with the Accounts and other teams.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a strong relationship with client stakeholders.
* Manage end-to-end production workflow including associated communications.
* Make sure the day-to-day operation and handling of our clients projects and orders are well managed and delivered as expected or exceeds expectation.
* Proactively provide (sustainable) alternatives when needed, to better meet the clients’ needs.
* Delivers projects and orders through adherence to standard business processes and systems.
* Interacts with our clients to understand their business and discover opportunities to grow our relationship.
* Makes sure that the briefing of the client is understood and works closely together with internal departments on the day-to-day operation, challenging the clients briefing and asking for clarifications when necessary or possible.
* Personally manage mid- to high-end clients’ projects from start to finish, working closely with other departments within APS Group (e.g Design Team, Procurement, Logistics team etc.).
* Effectively manage personal workload to complete individual and team tasks within agreed timescales.
* Supply the Account Director and / or Client Services Director with information, for them to work on strategic account plans.
* Report on progress and activities of the account plans and its targets.
* Ensure commercials are met according to contracts and ensure correct administrative handling to ensure smooth internal and external reporting.
* Make sure to supply accurate forecasting to Account Director.
* Assist in large client implementations.
* Deliver against client KPIs and other targets to meet contractual obligations.

Position of the role within APS
The Account Manager is the driving force behind the operation, the representative of APS in a certain region and collaborates closely with the Account Director and internal departments in the UK.
