* People Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement a forward-thinking HR strategy that aligns with business objectives. Provide leadership to the HR/Office Manager and potential further team members, and ensure seamless collaboration with the CFO, CEO, and management team on strategic workforce planning, addressing both immediate and long-term business needs.
* Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversee and continuously improve the entire recruitment process, from identifying hiring needs to onboarding, while managing external talent partners to ensure we attract high-quality candidates. Develop and implement strategies to retain top talent, focusing on creating career development opportunities and maintaining a strong employer brand.
* Employee Experience & Culture: Drive initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction. Design and manage onboarding programs that enable new hires to integrate quickly and effectively.
* Performance Management & Development: Lead structured performance review cycles, focusing on clear feedback mechanisms and development plans. Create learning and development programs that support employees' career growth and align with organizational goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and support the organization's certification processes, such as ISO and SOC 2. Maintain robust HR administration processes and oversee the use and optimization of HR systems, such as Personio, to enhance efficiency in all HR-related activities.
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience in a leadership HR role, ideally within a tech or startup environment.
* Strong understanding of HR best practices, including recruitment, performance management, and employee development.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic HR KPIs and initiatives that align with business objectives and deliver tangible results
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
* Experience in building and maintaining a positive workplace culture that promotes engagement, collaboration, and growth.
* Familiarity with HR systems, preferably Personio.
* Knowledge of compliance requirements, including support for certification processes such as ISO and SOC 2 is a plus
* Excellent communication in written and spoken German and English
