Automotive UI/UX Designer - Next Design (m/f/d)
at the Kia Europe Design Centre in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
Your Mission:
As UI/UX Designer in our Next Design Studio at Kia Europe in Frankfurt, you will pioneer the interaction between humans and vehicles for Kia’s future products. You will research, create and develop visionary interface and interaction designs for production and show car projects, that embody and enhance our brand and design philosophy.

Your Responsibilities:
1. Design novel interfaces and interactions that are aesthetic, accessible, intuitive and delightful, redefining the interaction between humans and vehicles.
2. Translate the brand and design philosophy, Opposites United, into design principles and paradigms to create a unique and meaningful user experience.
3. Blend design, usability and technology to push the boundaries of what’s possible in automotive design, on-screen and beyond screen.
4. Present design concepts, progress and final deliverables to leadership and stakeholders, effectively communicating the vision and strategic direction.
5. Collaborate and build strong relationships with cross functional teams and partners to bring innovative concepts to life.
6. Take responsibility for project deliverables, ensuring they meet the quality expectations.
7. Keep up with industry trends and technologies to improve and integrate emerging design techniques into daily projects.
Key Qualifications:
8. University Degree in Interface Design, Interaction Design, Digital Design, or similar.
9. Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience
10. Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or any other tools that help you to be an effective collaborative designer. Experience with prototyping tools like ProtoPie, Framer or similar is beneficial.
11. Proven communication and interpersonal skills, with the experience to articulate creative concepts and provide constructive feedback.
12. Proven organizational and project management skills, with the experience to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
13. Proactive and self-motivated, able to create own ideas, hands-on mentality and visionary thinking.
14. Strong collaboration skills, having confidence in interacting with executives, positive thinking, flexibility and the ability to adapt in a multicultural and quick developing environment.
15. Proficient in both written and spoken English, displaying excellent communication skills and responsiveness.
16. Commitment and motivation to travel outside of Europe.
