You will join our Defence Services organisation and report to the Program Manager for Defence Services, Central Europe. You will be based at our Cologne office together with a strong service project team. You will be one of the key players involved in implementing the Systematic Command & Control solutions throughout The Bundeswehr using agile methodology. You will be working with many different areas within the customer’s organisation as well as with their international and domestic partners. As Project Manager, your overall responsibility will be to design, propose, project manage and coordinate deliveries between the Defence Services delivery team, the customer and our internal software development teams. You will be responsible for running the day-to-day business with the team, delivering on agreed scope, time and quality. You will also support our sales and proposal teams in expanding our offerings across Central Europe. In other words, you will make sure that all the capabilities we provide via our solutions and services are well integrated, configured, implemented, and deployed in the customer environment. Your key tasks will include: Leading agile software development projects Coordinating activities between the service delivery team, the customer, and our headquarters in Denmark Collaborating with the Commercial Services/Business Development teams in sales activities, such as sales meetings, writing proposals and ensuring technical support and materials for workshops Managing projects through KPIs, management briefings, business committee meetings etc. Combining your customer and business understanding with your technical insights. In connection with the job, you can expect both domestic and international travel to customer sites, including regular visits to our headquarters in Aarhus. Project Manager with people skills We envisage that you hold a Master’s degree within IT/software with skills that match PMI, Prince2 or IPMA level B/C. You have several years of experience as a Project Manager working with agile methodology and have proven results running complex software projects in a busy and dynamic environment. You have leadership experience and know how to coach and motivate people inside and outside the organisation. In addition, you stand out because you: Can manage highly complex and agile projects together with the customer, subcontractor, and your team Are outgoing, trustworthy, and able to inspire the customer, the end-user, senior management and your team Can speak and write English fluently Have what it takes to deliver on cost, schedule, and quality Set the bar high and are able to constantly improve and develop yourself, your team and your surroundings Are willing to travel in accordance with your projects Certification and practical experience within SCRUM is a must.
