We are looking for a commercially focused and dynamic FMCG leader to head up our Field Sales Team EUC. Along with outstanding leadership and a clear vision to impact the sales agenda, this position will also add a key voice in the Europe Central Leadership Team, as well as the Sales Leadership Team, responsible for building and maintaining partnerships and implementing a joint value to drive business growth!
Core Responsibilities
1. Be a member of EUC leadership team
2. Lead German, Austrian, Swiss field sales team of 18 employees, the field Sales management team of 3 employees plus overall leadership of 3 countries (Germany / Austria / Switzerland)
3. Ensure excellence in execution of our strategic priorities in brick-and-mortar channels
4. Lead transformation in ways of working and tools
5. Build a high performing and engaged team

The role supports the EUC Business Unit overall ambition as well as our Western Europe growth agenda. Although there is a clear trend to more online sales accelerated by the pandemic, Brick and Mortar business is back to pre-COVID times and remains important and is growing in EUC. Some key retailers are organized as chains of independent stores and need attention from the field force. The Field Director is acting to make sure that we are reaching more children through these identified physical stores. Excellence in availability and execution at store level are the true levers of business performance in this area. The Field Director will lead and further develop a diverse team of managers and reps (internal and external), including developing new skills.
Do you have what it takes?
1. In-depth sales and sales leadership experience
2. A proven track record of field sales experience would be a plus.
3. Work experience for a leading consumer goods company
4. Shown curiosity about having a broader perspective (e.g. international work and/or study experience)
5. Fluent German and English is a prerequisite
