We are seeking a SAP Integration Architect to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Integrations, ensuring that running systems and services operate smoothly, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. This role plays a critical part in supporting daily operations, changes and improving the efficiency of the organization’s IT environment. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in cloud integration technologies, and hands-on experience in designing hybrid landscapes.
Area of Responsibilities:
1. Integration support and maintenance: Respond to outages and technical issues, coordinating with relevant teams to minimize outage due integration issues.
2. Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting: Manage and optimize SAP integrations, including performance tuning, error handling, monitoring, and troubleshooting of complex integration landscapes. Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues quickly, minimizing disruption to the business. Identify repetitive tasks and implement automation to increase efficiency. Utilize scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks.
3. Solution Design and Architecture: Design and architect SAP BTP-based solutions, integration, and extensions for SAP cloud and on-premise systems. Nice to have: Architect and implement cloud-native services on SAP BTP for application extensions, custom applications, and workflows.
4. Integration Expertise: Provide expert guidance on integrating SAP systems with third-party applications, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and non-SAP systems using various integration methodologies and tools. Ensure compliance with EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X, EDIFACT) and best practices.
5. Security and Compliance: Ensure security, data privacy, and compliance standards are adhered to within integration and cloud solutions.
Profile of Qualifications:
6. 5-8 years of experience in cloud integration technologies.
7. Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh).
8. Strong knowledge of integration protocols (SOAP, REST, OData) and enterprise integration patterns.
9. Proficiency in developing APIs, microservices, and middleware platforms.
10. Proven experience in integrating SAP systems with third-party applications, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and non-SAP systems.
11. Familiarity with EDI standards (ANSI X, EDIFACT) and best practices.
12. Experience in architecting hybrid landscapes and ensuring seamless data flow.
13. Team player and strong communication skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams.
14. Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
15. Experience in performance tuning, error handling, monitoring, and troubleshooting complex integration landscapes.
16. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
17. Commitment to staying updated on emerging technologies and trends in cloud and integration landscapes, applying them to enhance SAP BTP solutions.
18. SAP BTP Knowledge: Hands-on experience or familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and its latest services (e.g., SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP HANA Cloud) will be an added advantage.
