Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement both proactive and reactive improvement opportunities across core banking and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
* Analyze business processes, propose optimizations, and enhance efficiency and user experience.
* Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work closely with development teams to ensure solutions meet needs.
* Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, ensuring clear communication and timely project delivery.
* Oversee the implementation and testing of new functionalities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
* Perform system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure seamless deployment.
* Provide training and post-implementation support to end-users and conduct follow-up reviews to assess project success.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all implemented solutions.
Profile
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in business/data analysis in the banking sector (specifically in core banking functions).
* Strong understanding of core banking technologies and regulatory requirements.
* Proficiency in:
* Financial regulations (e.g., IFRS, HGB, GoBD) and reporting standards.
* European payment systems, including SEPA, SWIFT, T2, and PSD2.
* SQL and data analytics tools.
* Experience translating business needs into technical specifications.
* Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset with attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication skills in English verbal and written; German is a plus.
