Your tasks will include: Take charge of bookkeeping and oversee accounts payable/receivable for dynamic construction projects. Monitor project costs and deliver precise financial reports that drive decision-making. Support month-end close processes and craft clear, accurate financial statements. Ensure compliance with German tax laws (UStG, EStG) while maintaining financial accuracy. Play a key role in cost control, helping construction projects stay efficient and on budget. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is reliable and consistent. Leverage powerful accounting tools like SAP, DATEV, Tagetik, or similar systems to streamline financial management and reporting. To be a good fit for the Senior Accountant role, you will have: 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in construction or project-driven environments. Showcase your expertise in HGB (Handelsgesetzbuch) and German tax regulations (UStG, EStG). Fluency in German (C1/C2) and English (B2/C1). Demonstrate your skills in accounting software like SAP, DATEV, Tagetik, or similar tools. Thrive in project cost tracking, financial reporting, and seamless month-end closings.
