HR Specialist Germany (24-32hr) Are you an experienced HR professional with knowledge of German employment law? About My Jewellery My Jewellery is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce companies in the Netherlands. With an ambitious, dedicated, and driven team of over 800 employees, we work daily to strengthen our brand. In Germany, we currently have over 40 employees, and with several new boutique openings planned, this number is set to grow rapidly which is why we’re expanding our HR team with a specialist for the German market. Your Role as HR Specialist As an HR Specialist, you will be responsible for all HR-related activities in Germany. You will work closely with the HR Advisor for the relevant business unit and support various HR tasks, including: • Managing HR administration, including: employee onboarding, offboarding, and contract changes; • Processing payroll inputs and addressing queries related to payslips; • Providing HR advice in collaboration with the HR Advisor; • Overseeing absence management and ensuring employee health and safety; • Supporting recruitment and conducting job interviews; • Developing and implementing HR policies; • Optimising HR processes and systems, including introducing an international HR and payroll system; • Ensuring compliance with German employment laws and regulations; • Acting as the first point of contact for employees, managers, and our German payroll partner. What We’re Looking For • An in-depth understanding of the German HR market, mainly in employment law and HR processes; • You have an excellent command of the English language; • It is a bonus if you also speak or understand some Dutch; • At least 3 years of experience in HR or payroll administration, preferably within the retail sector; • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset; • Willingness to work remotely, with availability to visit our head office in Den Bosch once every two weeks; • Availability for 24 to 32 hours a week.
