Oliver Wyman is actively seeking a FP&A Senior Analyst for a permanent role to join our team in Munich. As a FP&A Senior Analyst for the Europe region, you will report into the FP&A Senior Manager and be responsible for leading commercial financial analysis for Germany & Switzerland as well as Performance Transformation (PT) & Transportation & Advanced Industrials (TAI) practices
This is a hybrid role that requires at least 3 days per week in the office. There is no option to be fully remote
Your primary areas of responsibility will be:
* Lead and manage day-to-day financial planning and analysis for Germany, Switzerland, PT & TAI, including management reporting, financial inputs to strategic decision making, commercial pricing and investment prioritization
* Engage with business leaders, plus colleagues in other support teams (including Human Capital and the Business Impact Team) to drive the quarterly business reviews and annual budget cycle (revenue and capacity) for the supported business intersections
* Support the regional forecasting budget process by actively steering success fees & AR & WIP risks. Effectively manage the backlog of active projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated & that aligns with expected revenue recognition.
* Supporting analysis of project and partner economics, and provision of timely information to support queries or requests
* Lead on ad hoc regional FP&A process improvement and MIS reporting initiatives and automation
Experience Required:
* BA or BS degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or another quantitative field preferred
* 5-7 years of experience in a consulting, financial, or analytical role
* Fluency in German and English
* Strong financial planning and/or accounting background
* Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience with modern tools like Tableau, Tableau Prep and SQL to build data models and automate our reporting and analytics
* Experience with Certinia professional services automation software a plus.
