We are looking for a Lead Analyst to join our Commercial & Analytics team who will help us to analyze our marketplace performance to recommend the best strategies that deliver our business goals. This is an individual contributor role designed for someone who thrives on solving complex problems and influencing strategic direction through data. In this role, you will work on strategic initiatives as well as support the performance marketing and product teams to optimize opportunities for sustainable growth.
We are a highly data-driven company and this role is a great opportunity to have a direct impact on our growth and commercial strategies. This role reports to the Senior Director of Commercial & Analytics and is a part of the marketing team, which operates across all brands and geographies. The role can be based out of any of our 4 office locations: Aix-en-Provence, Amsterdam, Berlin and London.
Your role includes the following:
* Drive analytical leadership as a strategic partner on high-visibility, cross-functional strategic projects
* Lead end-to-end project ownership – from scoping and data exploration to insight delivery and storytelling
* Proactively look for opportunities to answer key questions about our customers with data that will drive the business forward
* Support growth and GTM strategies by conducting in-depth marketplace performance & segmentation analysis, and creating playbooks for all geographies
* Monitor marketplace health and proactively identify and flag any noticeable changes in the metrics
* Support the Performance Marketing team with acquisition strategies
* Own and communicate key results of analysis to relevant teams and senior management
* 8+ years of experience in data analytics or strategy roles
* Experience driving data-driven strategic projects, preferably in a two-sided marketplace
* Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
* Proven experience in communicating effectively with stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams
* Proficiency in SQL and Google Sheets/Excel
* Experience working with BI tools like Looker
* Professional English language skills
