Responsibilities:
* Driving forward and coordinating the effective realisation of the construction project
* Cost, schedule and quality-orientated management of the construction project
* Developing strategies to achieve the project goal successfully and on schedule
* Monitoring project progress, defining project milestones, risk management
* Establishing and maintaining effective, professional relationships with the relevant stakeholders (customers, local authorities, internal Group departments)
* Leading, guiding, supporting and training the teams
* Ensuring long-term employee retention
* Optimising the use of employees' skills, competencies and expertise to increase operational efficiency and quality
More details for the Project Leader:
You will be reporting directly to the Director/ CEO. You will be responsible for the overall Project Budget, and make decisons on investments and purchasing volumes. As well as organisational decisions ensuring employees have all the necessary skills and competences to implement the work strategy.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the German technical standards (‘recognised rules of technology’)
- University degree in engineering (civil engineering, project management), supplemented by at least 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience in project management
- Experience in technical planning, contract administration and contractor management
- Economic and solution-orientated way of working
- Appreciative management style
- Positive encouragement of performance and motivation of employees
- Advanced communication skills with all business partners
- Effective time management
- Very good knowledge of German & Good English
