Horizon Controls Group We are seeking an experienced Automation Project Manager to join our team for a pharmaceutical client in Europe. The primary focus of this role will be managing automation projects involving Rockwell Automation systems and fill-finish operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the pharmaceutical industry, extensive knowledge of Rockwell Automation systems, and experience with fill-finish processes.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of automation projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and external vendors.Rockwell Automation Systems: Oversee the implementation and integration of Rockwell Automation systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition). Ensure that Rockwell systems are configured and implemented in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations.Fill-Finish Operations: Manage projects focused on the automation of fill-finish processes within pharmaceutical manufacturing. Collaborate with technical experts to ensure successful integration of fill-finish equipment with automation systems.Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring that project requirements and expectations are clearly understood and met.Risk Management and Problem Solving: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to address them. Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and objectives.Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and cost-effectively. Monitor project expenditures and adjust plans as necessary to stay within budget.Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all project activities comply with regulatory requirements and quality standards. Oversee the validation and documentation processes for automation systems, including the creation of validation protocols and reports.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Experience: Minimum of 7 years of project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry. Proven experience with Rockwell Automation systems (Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, SCADA). Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with fill-finish processes.Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry. Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Proficient in project management software and tools. Strong leadership and team management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification preferred.
