BDO in Luxembourg is looking for a Consultant in Indirect Tax Compliance and Advisory for our Accounting & Corporate Services!

What will you do?
1. Management of a client portfolio composed of SOPARFI holdings, which includes the review of:
* Current operations;
* Balance sheet and interim/annual financial statements;
* Extra-accounting tables;
* Reports as requested by clients;
* Calculation of tax provisions;
* Tax declarations;
* VAT declarations;
* Annual accounts;
* Minutes, acts and contracts (purchase/sale contracts of shares, loan contracts, terms of bond loans;
2. As well as:
* KYC / RBE updates;
* Preparation of invoicing;
* Monitoring of unpaid receivables;
3.Central point of contact for the client together with the senior manager depending on the team organization;
4.Identification of tax and legal issues for the files under responsibility;
5.Proposal of solutions to customer challenges and/or needs;
6.Participation in customer meetings;
7.Coordination of tasks with the different units of CF Corporate Services and BDO;
8.Responsible for verifying and meeting legal deadlines for filing annual accounts, tax returns and periodic/annual tax returns;
9.Accounting and legal monitoring, transfer of information to the relevant service teams.
This offer is for you if:
* You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance/Accounting and/or an accounting professional qualification (e.g. ACCA);
* You have at least 5-7 years’ professional experience in a similar position within a fiduciary/service provider in Luxembourg;
* You are fluent in English and French;
* You possess an extensive knowledge in accounting, Luxembourgish taxation and corporate law;
* You are rigorous with strong analytical skills;
* You demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks proactively and meet deadlines;
* You are customer and service-oriented;
* You have strong communication skills and teamwork spirit.
