What You Will Do:
1. Ensure profitability of the division with day-to-day integration and tracking of ideas/measures to secure the pipeline vs. target, own the measures and monitor of VM ideas across the organization by being leader of facilitating the generation of measures with functions and stakeholder
2. Definition and integration of cross-functional team members in the Value Management cross functional teams
3. Lead, execute and deliver the VM roadmap, vision and strategy
4. Fostering purpose driven, highly effective teams with clear ownerships & accountability
5. Ensure efficiency of teams by mentoring team members and challenging status quo
6. Lead the team to ensure transparency with data and analytics
7. Responsible and driver of measures based on input out of procurement, manufacturing, engineering, customer group and quality
8. Responsible and driver of risk assessment of measures
9. Responsible and driver of feasibility studies based on given standards / constrains
10. Execute vision and strategy of the divisional Value Management activities with
11. Drive creation of a detailed implementation planning at project & product level
12. Target delivery review, challenge, track implementation plans
13. Drive steering committee for implementation commitment
14. Owner of cross functional meetings and reporting of status quo
15. Driving the cross functional Value Management teams, Monitoring and Tracking of implementation progress
16. Ensure highly effective cross-functional teams to realize best-in-class cost improvements by fostering the Team integrity and leading and requesting the VM Budget
17. Leading overall VM communication and reporting towards stakeholders
What You Need:
18. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics
19. Minimum 5 years work experience as Program Manager in automotive business
20. Minimum 5 years work experience in the following areas:
21. Cost engineering of electronic systems
22. Valuemangement knowledge of electronic systems
23. Design & development of electronic systems
24. Commercial basics in Procurement, controlling and accounting
25. Design for Assembly experience in electronic systems
26. Automotive Quality processes
27. CO2e improvement
28. Professional knowledge in electronic, electrical & mechanical component integrated into an assembly
29. Demonstrated strong ability to solve complex technical topics through structure solutions. Must be able to influence others to drive alignment on proposed technical and commercial cost initiatives.
30. Demonstrated ability to breakdown Assembly processes down to component level
31. Excellent presentation skills and demonstrated ability to effectively present complex technical & commercial topics
32. Fluency in English
What is Nice to Have:
33. Master’s degree
34. Technical competency in electronic products Electrical, Mechanical, Semiconductor components)
35. Experience with data-leveraged approach to driving progress & measuring results.
36. German, Portugese and Chinese skills are a plus.
