YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Use of AI/LLM for collection and updating of data for plant protection products (PPPs) (e.g., agronomic field data, residues generated by PPPs), for use in data modelling
* Merging of agronomic field data with corresponding analytical data
* Data quality management: data housekeeping, handling of file versions
* Gathering and interpreting the output of the model and sharing it with relevant stakeholders
WHO YOU ARE
* Registered student (f/m/d) in Data Science, Software engineering, Biosciences or comparable.
* We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to learn and experiment with new techniques and technologies. You should be passionate about data and eager to explore innovative solutions to complex problems.
* Key Qualifications:
* Interested to work in a cross-functional, international project team – doing something which hasn’t been done before
* Excited about leveraging data to make a meaningful impact and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* A proactive mindset with a strong willingness to take initiative and drive projects forward. Any development of personal projects and collaborations besides formal education will be highly appreciated.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data challenges.
* A genuine enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new methodologies in data science.
* Openness to experimentation and a creative approach to finding solutions.
* Your profile:
* Experience in any of the main programming languages, Python preferred.
* Knowledge in data processing, visualization and statistical analysis with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, MatPlotLib,..
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken
