Your role: As a Senior Game Designer, you have a strong grasp on game systems, gameplay and mechanics. The kind of stuff you`ll be doing: Work closely with the Design Director to flesh out the core of the game. Lead game design on projects by defining the overall scope with the Producer and Project Managers when required. Handle and schedule multiple priorities when designing. Create detailed design documents with relevant mockups and UI wireframes. Regularly iterate designs based on feedback and team reviews. Act as a mentor and provide guidance to other designers on the team, helping them grow. Analyze and reverse-engineer game designs and features to deliver competitor analysis. Work in close collaboration with creative and tech teams from start to finish. Who are we looking for: 6 years of experience in Game Design with at least 3 shipped console games. A passion for gaming. Love analyzing games and learning from them. A constant drive to improve quality. Familiarity with Photoshop or any other 2D graphics editors. Hands-on experience with the Unreal game engine. Additional responsibilities: Ability to efficiently split work when working on more than one project. Work with the design team on game pitches and presentations. Design missions and side missions that complement the overarching narrative. Help the Design Director create a growth plan for other game and level designers. The ideal candidate also has one more of the following: Strong fundamentals in gameplay, systems, and mechanics. Open-world game design experience. Experience with fighting and/or combat game systems. Strong UX and UI skillsets. Ability to work on world-building and lore around the levels and scenarios. Narrative design experience, including character creation, story structure, synopsis, and dialogues. An eye for cinematic direction. Motivation to learn German.
