The Warehouse Team Leader (m/f/d) is responsible for coordinating employees and resources and ensuring the smooth running of all operational delivery and packaging activities.
A Day in the Life
* Responsibility for coordinating staff and resources and ensuring the smooth running of all operational delivery and packaging activities in order to ship the goods as intended, cost-efficiently and on time in accordance with internal and external guidelines
* Responsibility for the planned production steps, including eg, ensuring the availability of equipment, materials and approved documentation
* Ensuring the smooth operation taking into account the agreed quality standards and involving all relevant departments
* Collaboration with diverse, multidisciplinary departments to ensure compliance with safety, quality, delivery and costs
* Support in investigations of quality and safety incidents and responsibility for actively promoting high working standards in the relevant areas
* Continuous review of existing processes as well as analysis, identification and communication of inefficient processes and participation in the development of solutions and improvement possibilities
* Execution of GEMBA ́s
* Maintaining and creating the necessary important metrics for the warehouse
Keys to Success
Education:
* Completed vocational training in the field of logistics or equivalent training, or several years of professional experience. A completed advanced training to become a master or similar is advantageous
Experience:
* Profound experience in a position with a similar field of responsibility. Preferably in a fast-paced operational role in the pharmaceutical sector or a related industry
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate a diverse team effectively.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, ensuring smooth operations and timely deliveries.
* Proficient in logistics and supply chain management, with a deep understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
* Analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements, enhancing operational efficiency.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate across multidisciplinary departments and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and delivery standards.
