Job Description
We are looking for a committed and experienced manager for our maintenance department who can master challenging situations with technical know-how and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and develop the maintenance team, monitor KPIs, and ensure the implementation of standard company tools and methodologies
2. Implement corrective and preventive maintenance processes to ensure equipment reliability and prevent recurring breakdowns
3. Develop and implement strategies to achieve the vision of zero breakdowns, identify system gaps, and coordinate pilot implementations of new technologies
4. Prepare and manage yearly maintenance budgets, ensuring accurate forecasts and adherence to financial plans
5. Optimize spare part stock levels by regularly reviewing MRP settings and tracking warehouse performance to ensure efficiency
6. Ensure compliance with company and local safety regulations and enforce Plant Safety Rules for all maintenance activities
7. Manage relationships with external maintenance suppliers and develop local suppliers in collaboration with the purchasing department
Qualifications
8. Academic degree in a technical/engineering subject or a comparable qualification
9. Several years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry, including both heavy and precision engineering
10. Participation in machine improvement, refurbishment, upgrade, or installation projects
11. First management experience in a technical organization
12. Very good handling with MS Office software
13. Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken)
14. Regular international contacts through projects or suppliers
15. Good communication and networking skills
