Due to our upcoming fleet expansion, we are looking for an
Operator (m/f/d) – in Part-Time or Full-Time
Responsibilities/Tasks:
* Communication & coordination with customers / service providers / ships / agents / brokers
* Ship operating (handling and independent supervision of ship voyages, coordination with port agents and stevedoring companies)
* Control of harbour costs and settlements
* Co-operation with other departments of the company
Qualifications/Profile:
* Completed commercial training, e.g. as a shipping clerk, forwarding clerk, industrial clerk or office management clerk
* Operations Experience: Previous experience in operations is a plus
* Fluent English: strong written and spoken English skills are essential; knowledge of other languages is beneficial
* experienced with MS Office
* a quick grasp of things, an independent working style and a clear customer and service orientation
* Ability to work in a team, commitment and a strong sense of responsibility
