About Us Ever since we planted our first palm tree in 2010, Yousef Abdul Latif and Sons Agriculture Ltd. (YALA) had one mission: to provide the world with the highest quality, organically grown dates and date products. Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Consultant to join us in Hamburg. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong network and established relationships within major German retail chains, including EDEKA, Lidl, Aldi, SPAR, and similar stores. The Sales Consultant will play a key role in expanding our product reach, driving sales, and fostering long-term partnerships within the retail sector. About the role Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with key decision-makers at EDEKA, Lidl, Aldi, SPAR, other major retail chains and ethnic stores. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned accounts and across the retail sector to increase market penetration. Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide product information, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements. Achieve sales targets through effective negotiation, account management, and strategic planning. Conduct regular market analysis to stay updated on competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, tracking progress against objectives and KPIs. Requirements Proven experience in sales, with a focus on the retail sector in Germany. Strong working relationship with EDEKA, as well as other major retail chains such as Lidl, Aldi, and SPAR. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding sales goals. Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand market trends and customer behaviour. Fluent in German and English.
