We are expanding our Inside Sales team in the Human Nutrition sector. Your primary responsibility will be telephone-based sales, focusing on both existing customers and cold acquisition. You will execute targeted sales campaigns in collaboration with the inside sales management team, suppliers, and the field sales team to effectively position our partners' products in the market.
Additionally, you will prepare supplier portfolios, presentations, and sales tools, utilizing your sales and marketing expertise to support strategic initiatives. Your tasks will also include creating offers and pricing calculations, supporting both your own clients and those of the field sales team, with assistance from the inside sales support team. You will handle order preparation in the ERP system, CRM data maintenance, NCR processing, and inventory availability checks, while also contributing to forecasting, planning, and logistics coordination.
A comprehensive onboarding program will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into your role.
Qualifications:
* Experience in food ingredient distribution or alternatively in the chemical raw materials sector.
* Several years of professional experience in inside sales or a similar commercial role.
* A completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in economics or a related field; experience in food technology is an advantage.
* A proactive approach to customer acquisition and engagement, with strong advisory and sales skills over the phone.
* Proficiency in Excel, ERP, and CRM systems.
* An entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive attitude, strong analytical skills, and a data-driven approach to KPIs and benchmarking.
* Strong intercultural competence, communication, and teamwork skills, essential for working in a global environment with international partners.
* Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); additional language skills are a plus.
Responsibilities:
-You advise customers on the phone about exciting products from our partners.
-You will mainly look after existing customers. Cold calling on the phone is also part of the job.
-You will carry out targeted sales campaigns to place our partners' products on the market. You will coordinate these with the internal sales management, suppliers and the technical field service team.
-You use your sales and marketing expertise to prepare supplier portfolios, presentations and sales tools.
-You prepare quotations and calculations - both to support the customers of the technical field service and for your own customers.
-You prepare orders in the ERP system, maintain data in the CRM system, enter NCRs and clarify product availability.
-Your tasks also include forecasting, planning and scheduling
