We enable BASF to access renewable energy by participating in the production of renewable electricity, concluding long-term supply contracts and bringing renewable electricity to BASF production sites.RESPONSIBILITIESBASF Renewable Energy GmbH (BREn) has been established to bundle activities within BASF Group pertaining to the sourcing, trading and distribution of renewable energy. Hence, BREn is a central element of BASF Group’s transformation towards net-zero emissions.
