1. Conception, implementation and controlling of IT projects in a research institute
2. Optimise IT processes and procedures
3. Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software for the following systems: Apple devices, Microsoft devices, Linux systems
4. Provide first and second level support for DZNE employees at DZNE Tübingen
5. On-site contact person for troubleshooting and fault rectification of all IT infrastructure
6. Support of the server environment: network infrastructure, error analysis and replacement of hardware components
7. Supervision and ensuring functionality of data storage, data backup
8. Advice and support employees of DZNE Tübingen with the purchase of IT equipment
9. Managing the media system, projector, videoconference system and the telephone system
10. Maintain strong working relationship with the central DZNE IT department in Bonn and other stake holders (internally and with cooperation partners)
11. IT Generalist with strong knowledge of operating systems and networking technologies (Mac OS, Windows, Linux)
12. Excellent communication skills and service-oriented mentality, enjoy working with different people
13. Fluent in English and German, both written and orally
14. Completed University Degree in Computer Science (or related field) or demonstrable knowledge acquired through experience
