ROLE SUMMARY AND GOALS As of now, we are seeking a highly motivated student with skills in epidemiology, big data including complexity, data science with options for modeling/simulation. Good knowledge in pulmonology conditions and outcomes research would be ideal. Some appreciation of health economics would be welcome. This is a 2 / 3-year position as PhD student in Global Market Access team within our Pulmonology group. In your role, you will interact with and get support from a team of highly motivated team of Health economists, outcomes researchers and medical teams amongst a group of cross functional internal teams. PhD PROJECT - The project will go beyond traditional RWE analysis and be looking to pioneer in new areas. - Understanding the data ecosystem in pulmonary fibrosis - Interpreting complex individual or aggregated data on outcomes and trends of patient outcomes based on previous and current therapy as interpreted from data aggregation - Support and engage internal and external stake holders on improving data interpretation so as to improve this Big Data project - Supporting planning for statistical analysis plans along project evolution - Supporting publication plans with internal and external stake holder as well as partners TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES - During your PhD, you will identify the main methods of analysis of data within pharmaceuticals and other stakeholders and how they manage complexity using data. - You will set up, develop, identify data and analytic plans in collaboration with team leads of the project. - As a member of one of the three project teams, you would also act as the team coordinator of the project you are part of. - Furthermore, you ensure that there are milestones and aligned KPIs as set by the leadership team. - Every quarter you will help team leads with updates on project and seek ways to improve on plans. - In addition, you will support and along with key stake holders publish peer-reviewed scientific papers. REQUIREMENTS - Master's degree in life sciences, health economics, health outcomes or clinical area of pulmonology or rheumatology - Excellent communication skills to collaborate / work in multi-disciplinary teams - Highly committed and goal-oriented way of working - Good command of spoken and written English; German language or willingness to practice with support appreciated READY TO CONTACT US?
