We are looking for you as a FP&A Lead(m/f/d) with a direct reporting line to the Country CFO for AstraZeneca Germany.
Your responsibilities:
1. Support in strategic decisions and act as a trusted advisor to CP AstraZeneca Germany and Country CFO
2. Responsibility and control for the planning, forecasting, and management of LRP, RBU, and other planning events at AstraZeneca Germany
3. Point of contact for FP&A colleagues in global and regional finance roles
4. Point of contact for GFS FP&A Team in Poland and driving continuous improvements in collaboration with GFS
5. Strategic overview of the entire market activities in the respective Therapeutic Areas (TAs) and development of proposals for resource reallocation
6. Leadership of local financial or cross-functional projects (, digital)
7. Continuous coordination with cross-functional areas: Pricing & Market Access (discounts), IBEX and VPs (FTE & non-manpower)
8. Implementation and continuous improvement in collaboration with GFS of a Management Information System for CP, CFO, and SMT members
9. Identification of growth opportunities and performance improvements, development of action-oriented proposals to achieve the goals
10. Shared responsibility for the business strategy and the performance cycle of the respective TAs in the cross-functional team
11. Coaching and development of colleagues in the local Value Enabling Partner Team and GFS
Your qualifications:
12. Completion of a relevant university degree
13. 7-10 years of relevant experience in the finance/controlling area - preferably in marketing/sales organizations and another area (, regional/global role, corporate finance, or leadership responsibility as a finance manager for a smaller unit)
14. Proven experience in a globally operating company
15. Desirable: Understanding of the (German) pharmaceutical market
16. Leadership: Demonstrated (direct/indirect) leadership experience in the finance area
17. Analytical Thinking: Very good analytical thinking and numerical understanding
18. Problem Solving & Solution Orientation: confident handling of complex tasks, pronounced analytical and strategic skills; critical and quick thinking; decision-making ability as well as goal orientation
19. Influencing Skills: Ability to influence cross-functional decisions, motivation of employees without direct reporting line
20. Communication: Very good communication and presentation skills, ability to present complex relationships simply, experience with senior management presentations
21. Accountability: Ability to work independently and take responsibility as well as teamwork
22. Entrepreneurship: Willingness to take risks, action-oriented behavior, high flexibility in a dynamic work environment, willingness to further develop oneself and the status quo
23. Team Player: Demonstrated excellent skills in dealing with teams and social competence
24. Fluent in English
25. Good handling of SAP, Excel, Business Intelligence Software, and other analytical tools
