At the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT, we may not be developing swords against the dark side of the Force, but our developments often sound like science fiction. This is because we are shaping the technologies and processes for the future of digital production, packaging and scanning technology and many other laser-based applications, e.g. 3D printing and laser fusion.
The Marketing and Communication department is responsible for the appropriate external presentation of our institute, including our website and the organization of conferences and trade fair presentations. For the Marketing group, we are looking for reinforcement for tasks at the interface of R&D and business as of May 1, 2025.
What you will do
* In your area of responsibility, you will be involved in the implementation of marketing activities within the team
* You will support customer and contact management (e.g. customer database maintenance, mailings)
* In addition, active support in the implementation of internal and external events (conferences, trade fairs)
* Supporting the evaluation of our marketing measures and creating presentations are part of your area of responsibility
* You will be responsible for maintaining and updating the content of our event websites
* In addition to participating in social media work, you will actively support our day-to-day business
What you bring to the table
* You are studying business administration, industrial engineering, technical communication, communication/media sciences, humanities or similar.
* Good user skills in MS Office and experience with Adobe Experience Manager (CMS systems) are advantageous
* You work reliably, systematically and self-organized and have a high degree of initiative and strong communication skills
* You can keep track of several projects at the same time
* Excellent German and English language skills and enjoy working independently and interacting with people

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
