Head of Quality Management
Your Responsibilities
In our dynamic and innovative organization, a team of approximately 20 professionals is dedicated to developing cutting-edge systems in biological measurement technology. We are in the final stages of product development and are initiating small-scale assembly of our first product. Simultaneously, automated large-scale production of consumables is being established.
As the Head of Quality, you will:
* Establish and lead a quality management team and develop structures based on Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.
* Take responsibility for achieving quality goals, supporting the interdisciplinary team in scaling production and sales over the coming years.
* Promote a culture of quality and compliance while leading a small team of professionals, with potential for growth depending on business needs.
* Ensure our product meets stringent quality standards similar to those for medical devices or point-of-care diagnostics, catering to the food production sector.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives by defining and tracking quality indicators to enhance system effectiveness.
* Develop and oversee a supplier quality program, including supplier evaluation and qualification.
Your Profile
* A degree in natural sciences, engineering, or a related field.
* Significant experience in product quality management for complex disposable products or medical technology with high-volume production (e.g., plastics or medical devices).
* Proven leadership experience with professional and disciplinary team management.
* Hands-on knowledge of quality systems, quality control, and quality assurance.
* Familiarity with TQM, complaint management, and standards such as ISO 13485 is a plus.
