Your mission
We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations (m/f/d) to support our Co-Founder Till in scaling our business. You will lead our Product Operations Team from Application Engineering, Service & Support and Production Planning to Spare Part Business.
Strategic Leadership and Execution
* Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets
* Oversee end-to-end operations, including supply chain, order fulfillment, production, customer success, and aftersales services
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, productivity, and scalability across all operational areas
Supply Chain Management
* Establish and manage robust supplier relationships, including identification, qualification, contract negotiations, and onboarding
* Implement effective procurement and demand planning processes
* Optimize warehouse operations, focusing on spare parts management and inventory control
* Develop and enforce risk management protocols and quality standards
Order Fulfillment and Production
* Ensure seamless execution of customer projects from order to delivery and after-sales support
* Implement and refine processes for customer engagement, internal coordination, and production partner management
* Oversee production partnerships, including contract management, quality assurance, and claims resolution
Customer Success and Aftersales Services
* Lead customer-facing negotiations and issue resolutions
* Implement systems for performance assessment across our deployments
* Develop and manage comprehensive aftersales and service operations, including case management, field engagements, and support infrastructure
Team Leadership and Development
* Support building and lead high-performing teams across all operational functions
* Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Your profile
* 7+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
* Proven track record in scaling operations in a high-growth technology or robotics environment
* Strong understanding of industrial robotics and automation technologies, and their applications in in-field use cases
* Very hands-on, driven by a getting-things-done mindset and a desire for executional excellence
* Exceptional problem-solving and conceptional skills
* Outstanding leadership abilities with experience in building and motivating cross-functional teams
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, internal and external
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master, MBA or other advanced degree of advantage
* Strong communication skills (also written), and business fluent in German and English (C1 level)
* You can drive, and have a driving license that is valid in Germany
