YOUR TASK
The main duties of the Safety Support Supervisor are to coordinate and create content to promote safety topics within the company, as well as taking over administrative tasks for the Safety Department. Other tasks include:
* Creating and editing reports, publications, and other documents in English language (e.g., investigation reports, employee magazine, Safety Alerts),
* Supporting media projects in cooperation with internal Communications Department or external agencies (e.g., logo or video creation),
* Coordinating and further developing safety trainings,
* Organizing events and campaigns to promote safety issues in the company,
* Ensuring quality and standardization between operational safety departments,
* General admin tasks for the Safety Department (e.g., organizing meetings and business trips, making purchases)
* Supporting the maintenance of DHL Aviation Global Crisis Control Center and the company's emergency plan,
* Administrative support for colleagues with mental health problems as part of our EAT Support Program,
* Maintaining emergency equipment, alcohol / drug / medication testing equipment, facilities, documentation, and our notification system FACT24.
WHAT YOU BRING
* University degree or similar equivalent professional experience preferred,
* Practical experience in the area of marketing / communications and / or as a personal assistant desirable,
* High proficiency / fluency in English,
* Very good knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel),
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills,
* Great attention to detail and a keen eye for design and layout,
* Very structured, organized, reliable and autonomous way of working,
* Strong interest in operational aviation areas (e.g., maintenance, flight operations or ground operations),
* High degree of personal responsibility, service, safety, and quality orientation, Trustworthy, sensitive, and committed to confidentiality,
