Reporting directly to Diesel Europe Chief Accounting Officer, you will be the reference person at the local level within the Finance Department for business and support functions.
Your Responsibilities:
* Controlling and ensuring the application of appropriate accounting principles (German, Swiss and IFRS GAAP)
* Serve as the central point of contact for all accounting-related inquiries
* Running monthly and year-end closing process
* Ensuring the correct implementation of travel expenses process
* Coordinating activities for treasury and liability cycle (purchase orders, invoices, payments)
* Ensuring the implementation and supervision of the Group's internal control policies and procedures
* Supervising indirect tax compliance in collaboration with external tax advisors
* Monitoring the calculation of current and deferred taxes in collaboration with external tax advisors
* Coordinating accounting and tax audits
* Supporting the controlling department in the budget preparation
* Supporting the legal department for “Corporate Governance” activities and the definition of contracts
* Supervising an accountant
Your Profile:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance/accounting
* Proven professional experience (minimum 5 years) as an accounting manager or similar role in an international environment, experience in an audit company is appreciated.
* Familiarity with tax regulations
* Fluent in German and English (Italian is appreciated)
* Advanced computer skills on MS Office (mostly Excel) and accounting software (SAP knowledge is appreciated)
* With good interpersonal skills, able to work independently and in team
* Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving skills
