About the Role:
As a Digital Field Support Specialist, you’ll play a crucial part in advancing TOMRA’s digital solutions. This dynamic role offers a unique blend of responsibilities:
Your Responsibilities:
Digital Product Management (50% of your time)
* Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Service) and customers across segments to discover digital needs and requirements.
* Manage and prioritize digital requirements, creating an organized backlog for the Technology team to develop.
* Test and approve digital solutions before they’re deployed to ensure excellence in what we deliver.
* Serve as the key contact between customers and developers, relaying feedback and ensuring their needs are fulfilled.
Technical Digital Support (remaining 50% of your time)
* Support and manage field trials for new digital solutions at diverse global sites, bringing TOMRA’s innovation to life.
* Conduct thorough data validation processes, ensuring every new machine we release meets quality standards with validated data.
Qualifications
What You Bring:
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Waste Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Comfort with data-driven and cloud-based digital solutions.
* Basic experience with sensor-based sorting technology, as well as knowledge of automation and network technology.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Eagerness to travel occasionally (around 20% within Europe) and to grow and develop in an interdisciplinary team.
* A good command of written and spoken English.
