The working group "Interactive and Cognitive Systems" (ICS) in the Department of Vision and Imaging Technologies is looking for a scientific project associate for research and development tasks within the framework of the Fraunhofer-Max-Planck cooperation project "Neurocognitively-guided modeling of virtual humans for enhanced realism in immersive media." What you will do
* Planning and implementation of psychophysiological experiments with a focus on electroencephalography (EEG) experiments
* Analysis of psychophysiological data in Python
* Conducting statistical data analyses
What you bring to the table
* Completed university degree (B.Sc.) in Psychology
* Interest in psychophysiological experiments
* Understanding of technical systems
* Experience in programming with Python is advantageous
* Experience with data analysis and statistical evaluation is advantageous
* Experience with software development and version control software, such as GitLab, is advantageous
* Fluent in spoken and written English
* Team player with a structured way of working and the ability to independently develop ideas for new research activities
* Interest in publishing research results is desirable

Your contract at Fraunhofer HHI is limited until December 31, 2025 as part of the "NeuroHum" project.
The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
