We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail supply chain and food processing industries, with a focus on sustainable packaging solutions. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement strategies to expand our market presence in DACH and Benelux regions - Manage and grow relationships with key retailers such as ALDI, REWE, LIDL, AHOLD Delhaize, Jumbo, and Migros. Develop business with Food Industry suppliers including Meat, growers, Dairy, soft drinks - Negotiate large contracts for returnable packaging solutions - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of projects - Stay informed about market trends, sustainability issues, and competitor activities - Prepare and present reports on business development activities and results Qualifications - Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, preferably in the retail supply chain or food processing industry - Strong understanding of sustainability issues and returnable packaging solutions - In-depth knowledge of the European retail landscape, particularly in DACH and Benelux regions - Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage large contracts - Fluency in English and at least one other relevant language (German or Dutch preferred) - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned regions Required Skills - Strategic thinking and business acumen - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Adaptability to work in an international, fast-paced environment - Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets We Offer - Opportunity to work with a leading company in sustainable packaging solutions - Competitive salary and benefits package - Professional development opportunities in an international setting
