The responsibilities for this position are established to drive continual improvement and to guarantee conformance of all certifications in the region by:
1. Interpreting certification requirements into simple business language to provide guidance for process owners including those in Circular economy & Sustainability (CE&S) and applicable business partners.
2. Control of Documented Information Responsible for the management of document review (Level 1 and 2 documents) to prevent the use of out-of-date documents. Responsible for records control governance to guarantee required records are retained and destroyed according to the retention period.
3. Working with process owners to drive process improvements by coordinating and implementing defined changes. Recommend changes to processes based on identified nonconformances or deviations, customer requirements and performance data. Strive to understand and provide guidance on the need for new processes or changes to existing processes.
4. Coordinating and communicating change management for all changes to processes with a potential impact to certifications.
5. Coordinating local requests on new initiatives and needs to deliver results by providing guidance for the development of relevant processes and related documentation.
6. Driving harmonization and simplification of Quality and certification requirements for all processes across the sites in the region while recognizing where differences are necessary.
7. Being an ambassador and an advocate for Global Quality in the region.
8. Coordinating standard mandatory activities required by certifications including: Providing guidance to the process owners to guarantee the required information is available for management review. Overseeing the nonconformance process to guarantee effective closure to prevent recurring issues by coordinating and tracking root cause analysis related to Quality deviations and nonconformances.
9. Providing training for industrial and non-industrial teams on certification standards and other quality requirements.
10. Participating in onboarding activities introducing Quality and certification requirements.
11. Providing local coordination for Braskems Global Management System, Intelius, by: Maintaining conformance to the Quality Pillar and General requirements Participating in the improvement and updating of the content of the Quality Pillar documents (directives, guidebooks, global standards, methods, tools, protocols, etc.,) to ensure continued applicability in the local region. Working with the Intelius Governance Team to participate in the Intelius internal audit process to ensure successful results.
12. Communicating applicable quality information as defined in the communication plan including: Preparation of Monthly Quality Reports Providing Quality Assurance data at the Plant Performance Meetings in Wesseling and Schkopau Providing current data for the Global Quality Dashboard Issuing communications on Quality Assurance achievements through Workplace
13. Guaranteeing successful external certification audits by: Maintaining and sustaining all certifications in EU and Asia (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, Bonsucro, ISCC Plus, etc.) Being the main liaison with the certification bodies to facilitate external audit scheduling.
14. Leading and implementing relevant improvement projects for quality using continual improvement tools.
15. Being a member of the local GmbH Energy Team to guarantee success in the ISO 50001 certification.
16. Participating in global activities as a member of the Global Quality Assurance Team
Your qualification and skills:
17. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in chemistry, chemical engineering, or another scientific discipline.
18. Professional experience in the field of quality management.
19. A minimum of 3 years of experience working with and auditing to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 50001:2015, including knowledge of the specific requirements and their application.
20. Experience in trend analysis and problem-solving methodology (including core tools such as FMEA, RCA and MOC).
21. Working knowledge of statistics
22. Project Management experience
23. Experience working with Multicultural and Multifunctional teams
24. Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP applications
25. Good knowledge of the German language, both written and spoken
26. Conversational English
