The job position is primarily responsible for leading the tactical procurement team and securing material for production and customer in a timely manner and meeting delivery dates

- management and coordination of the tactical procurement team at EMEA level
- determine parts and material requirements planning in accordance with current customer requirements
- coordinating prices, delivery options and requirements with the respective project managers
- control and monitor necessary project purchases and pursue compliance with targets in terms of quality, costs and deadlines
- compliance with business KPIs
- supporting the project in the targeted defense of complaints as well as their analysis, evaluation and negotiation
- communication with suppliers and ensuring transport, optimization of warehouse stocks
- responsibility for the design and improving processes within the department
- cooperation with other members of the Logistics, Procurement, Pricing, Market structure, Production, IE, etc. team.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Position requirements:
- higher education or minimum secondary education
- experience with team management min. 1 year
- at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing company and min. 1 year of experience in the position of procurement or material planning
- demonstrable user knowledge of MS Office - EXCEL
- practical experience with ERP systems (SAP is a big advantage)
- knowledge of German and English on a communicative level
