Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of PMO to join its group compliance function. This senior leadership role will be instrumental in driving strategic compliance initiatives, overseeing complex project portfolios, and ensuring the effective implementation of compliance transformation programs across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Compliance PMO function at group level, ensuring high-quality planning, governance, reporting, and execution of compliance initiatives.
* Partner with senior compliance and business leaders to define and align program objectives with strategic business goals.
* Oversee a diverse portfolio of global and cross-functional projects related to regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
* Establish and maintain robust PMO methodologies, standards, and tools to ensure consistency and transparency across all compliance projects.
* Provide executive-level reporting and insights on program status, risks, and dependencies to group leadership and other key stakeholders.
* Drive continuous improvement and transformation within the compliance organization by leveraging data-driven insights and change management best practices.
* Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of project managers and analysts.
Qualifications:
* University degree in Business Administration, Law, Risk Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are a plus.
* At least 10 years of experience in project management or PMO leadership roles, ideally within the financial services or insurance sectors.
* Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, governance frameworks, and risk management.
* Proven experience leading strategic transformation projects in a global matrix environment.
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including executive leadership.
* Fluent in English; German is a plus.
