The Role:
✓ Full-Time, Long-Term Maternity Cover
✓ Music Teacher for Primary students (Grade 1 to 6)
✓ Curriculum: IBPYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme), Berliner Rahmenlehrplan
Your Responsibilities:
✓ Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Music for Primary students.
✓ Provide professional expertise to motivate students and help them fulfill their potential.
✓ Collaborate with colleagues to align the school-wide music curriculum.
✓ Plan and organize musical school events.
✓ Foster strong home-school relationships to support students’ musical growth.
✓ Utilize resources effectively to ensure improved standards of achievement in Music Education.
Your Profile:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
✓ A Bachelors or Master´s degree in Music Education.
✓ A minimum of two years teaching experience.
✓ Demonstrate a genuine passion for music, energy, and love for teaching children.
✓ Experience teaching in a multilingual learning environment.
✓ English language skills on a native speaker level.
✓ Strong commitment to student development and achievement.
✓ Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.DESIRABLE:
✓ Prior IB PYP training and teaching experience.
✓ Experience in using technology to enrich student learning.
✓ Prior experience in coordinating / leading extra curricular music lessons and clubs.
✓ German language skills.
