As an Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for the entire sales process and developing new business with customers and prospects in South-West Germany. After a successful training at the German office and a complementary training in the headquarters, you will be working independently from home office within the assigned area. Essential Duties: Implement the company sales strategy in your own area and prepare the sales budget and forecasts for the area. Maintain the existing sales in the region. Prepare and discuss offers with the customers. Promote company’s products at end-users and moulders and provide support in the product selection process. Evaluate new project requirements with the customers and work with company’s technical service and R&D teams to develop and propose effective solutions. Research and report the market activities in terms of products and prices. Report to Regional Sales Manager (Germany); close co-operation and frequent contacts with HQ (Sales Director, Customer Service, R&D, Technical Service). Qualifications: A completed degree in plastic engineering or in a related discipline. At least 5 years’ experience in the sales of engineering plastics. Practical experience in injection moulding as well as knowledge in all current thermoplastic polymers and high-performance products. Good written and spoken English knowledge. A high level of self-initiative and self-reliance, embracing on customer contact and willing to travel.
