Your Mission
* You will be responsible for the layout of electronic circuits for our medical devices with a focus on single-use endoscopes.
* You will be responsible for creating and maintaining all necessary production data.
* Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the global component database for our component maintenance.
* In addition, you will work on the continuous optimisation and further development of our established products, technologies and processes.
* You are a reliable point of contact for your KARL STORZ colleagues around the world and our suppliers
* You create scripts to automate our development processes
Your talents
* Training as an engineer or a university degree in electrical engineering or a related field
* Several years of professional experience in the layout of printed circuit boards with CAE systems
* Experience in the design of printed circuit boards with very small structures
* Experience in the design of flexible and complex multilayer printed circuit boards (EMC-compliant layout, impedance-controlled traces, HDI, thermal design)
* Knowledge of relevant national and international standards (DIN EN, VDE, IEC, ISO; VDA)
* Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
* Very good knowledge of English and German
