ZIB is the central IT service provider for the justice system in Lower Saxony and is responsible for a modern IT infrastructure with around 23,500 clients. In addition, we run numerous digitization projects for a modern justice system with our approximately 400 colleagues.
To strengthen our team in the area 3104 - Windows Server, Fabric, Containerization, Storage & Backup, we are looking for the Celle location at the earliest possible date for a
System Administrator Server Management (f/m/d)
The post is assigned to the Higher Regional Court of Celle under personnel law.
Your tasks:
* You will operate the Windows server systems used in the Lower Saxony justice system as part of a team.
* Your focus will be on the administration of Windows servers and clusters. You will ensure the constant availability of the data required by the courts and public prosecutor's offices in Lower Saxony.
What sets you apart:
* A relevant university degree (e.g. computer science) or equivalent skills and experience
* good knowledge of server virtualization technologies or NetApp storage technologies
* Basic scripting knowledge
* ideally already experience in the automation of recurring tasks and processes in the Windows Server environment
* expandable knowledge in the configuration of monitoring tools such as CheckMK, Nagios, Zabbix or Microsoft System Center Operations Manager
* Initial experience with Citrix VDI infrastructures is helpful
* Ability to work in a team, initiative and service orientation
* German language skills corresponding to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and IT-standard English language skills
* a place of residence in Lower Saxony, or the willingness to relocate there and to undertake occasional business trips within Lower Saxony
Willingness to undergo a security check in accordance with Section 7 (1) of the Nds.
