Supply Chain Coordinator (m/f/x) – FMCG
location: greater Bonn area
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our German team as a Supply Chain Coordinator in the Fresh Food industry. You will work in our logistic supplier facility. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain process.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinate and monitor the end-to-end supply chain process in our logistician supplier facility (Third Party Logistic 3PL), including procurement and distribution.
2. Make sure to maintain and update accurate records of inventory levels, sales and forecasts.
3. Communicate and collaborate with suppliers to ensure delivery schedules and resolve any supply issues.
4. Monitor and analyze supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement, such as reducing costs and lead times. Evaluate supplier performance.
5. Coordinate with central logistic team, central planning team and supplier warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
6. Generate and analyze reports on supply chain metrics, such as inventory turnover, fill rate, and on-time delivery.
7. Support the implementation of new systems or processes to streamline supply chain operations.
8. Proactively identify potential risks by conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and identify disruptions in the supply chain and develop contingency plans.
9. Maintain strong relationships with our supplier and with internal stakeholders, such as sales administration team, demand planner team, sales team, to ensure alignment and meet business objectives.
Skills
10. Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Business Administration, or a related field.
11. Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices and fresh food industry trends
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues.
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and supplier team.
14. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
15. Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
16. Familiarity with quality control processes and regulatory compliance.
17. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
18. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
19. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
20. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
21. Fluent in English and French is a plus
