We are looking for a new person to fill the position of Commercial Business Partner with immediate effect. The position reports directly to the Commercial Excellence Director.
As a Commercial Business Partner, you work very closely with the marketing and sales teams. Your task is to understand the divisional goals and strategies and to accompany their implementation. In addition, you provide the areas with meaningful analytics and recommendations for action.
In this position you are a key player in our weekly / monthly performance update sessions, where you structure and guide the commercial teams through performance reviews. You are also responsible for coordinating and implementing classic structural changes (field service structures), capacity planning, targeting and segmentation projects. Additionally, we expect you to help the sales leadership teams to drive for operational execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business partnering, performance management and reporting
2. Implementation of strategic marketing and sales planning
3. Joint definition and development of key performance indicators and reports to ensure the management and control of sales and marketing goals
4. Monitoring, evaluation and interpretation of reports, independent / proactive escalation of anomalies to business partners
5. Advice and operational support in the planning and implementation of the annual sales plan for the field service
6. Support of the sales management in reviewing and optimizing the sales structure
7. Responsibility for project management in the implementation of strategic sales issues (e.g., prioritization of doctors, regional structure changes, targeting & segmentation)
Qualifications & Skills
8. Operational sales experience, ideally in pharmaceutical sector
9. High analytical skills and ability to deal with complete data structures, without losing sight of business relevance
10. Independence in taking up topics and in coordination of projects, leading them to success with support from a strong team within the Business Partner and Commercial Operations division
11. Quick comprehension, courage, enjoyment of performance and development
12. Proficiency in German and very good knowledge of English (both written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
13. Marketing experience in the consumer goods or pharmaceutical industry
14. Background in market research
