Job Description
1. In this position you will be taking charge of the cost reduction projects of a product area, working together and getting connected with various business units all around the world (Germany, Hungary, United States, Mexico, India, Romania etc.).
2. With these teams you will work to identify and evaluate possible areas for cost savings in Bosch automotive electronics.
3. Beyond this you will also be developing and updating business cases to assist in the evaluation of the success of these projects.
4. You will work closely with customer project leads to coordinate sales, purchasing, development, manufacturing and logistic teams to evaluate and progress projects to their eventual completion.
5. Beyond the day to day, you will also work to organize international workshops when needed, in order to assist in finding new possibilities for savings.
6. In addition to that, you will also have the opportunity to present the findings and status of your projects to management and work to secure necessary funding through month review meetings.
Qualifications
7. Education : You must have completed a bachelor’s degree in engineer, management, computer science, economics, and have obtained well above-average results and have the firm intention to take up a master’s course afterwards
8. Experience and Knowledge: If you have a background in automotive, hardware engineering, or project management that would be preferred along with a good grasp of Excel and PowerPoint.
9. Personality and Working Practice: You should be well-organized, team-oriented, extraverted, and globally-minded.
10. Languages : English C1 level mandatory, German B1 preferred
Additional Information
The Bosch PreMaster Program is a two-stage qualification program for committed graduates with Bachelor's degrees who want to complete a Master's degree. After the Bachelor's degree, the first phase offers up to 12 months of practical experience as part of a gap year to learn about technical and business contexts. The second phase comprises the Master's course and includes further practical experience in the context of student employment as well as personal mentoring on the road to successful completion.
