Make an impact We are seeking a dedicated individual to step into the role of Proposal Manager for our Customer Service in EMEA, located in Germany. Our Proposal Managers play a vital role in the Sales phase to ensure the closing of our opportunities and have a significant impact on our Business. As a part of our Account Management team you will be responsible for the quality, accuracy, and timing of the Proposal by actively collaborating and contributing to the process, aiming to secure a signed agreement with our customers. As a Proposal Manager your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
1. Be responsible for the overall opportunity management and lead the process for modernization and extension projects.
2. Plan and coordinate an opportunity schedule, identifying key deadlines and liaising with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure the deadlines are met.
3. Challenge all involved functions in order to achieve a complete, high quality and competitive proposal for the customer. You will collaborate with the central EMEA-modernization and Lifecycle management teams, as well as our production centers, in order to validate solutions and improve competitiveness.
4. Be responsible for risk management, assessment and ensuring process quality and coordinating the PCO.
5. Drive the service & support contract management process in which you will support the Account Managers by providing a validated scope of services and up-to date contract proposals. You will also take part in the contract negotiation process, both internally and externally.
6. You will also maintain proper documentation and work in a structured manner according to our Swisslog processes.

7. You have a university degree within business management, industrial engineering & project management or equivalent.
8. You bring relevant and successful experience in managing projects, ideally within intralogistics.
9. You are experienced in working with a variety of projects and opportunities with a successful track record in managing sales projects.
10. You have a strong customer focus, a strategic and competitive side and thrive in a team environment working towards meeting shared goals and celebrating your successes.
11. Fluent German and English language skills round off your profile.
