Your Job
Ensure timely processing of high quality IFRS17 financial planning for the whole non-life segment to the Munich Re Group by:
1. Coordinating and monitoring the delivery of input data from various stakeholders while creating a constructive work environment and strong communication within the interdisciplinary team
2. Supporting the implementation and testing regarding the Group-wide financial year plan under the new IFRS 17 standard
3. Further developing systems and tool infrastructure for actuarial analyses as well as reporting requirements
4. Overseeing the efficient execution of IFRS 17 plan processing, quality assurance and actuarial analyses of IFRS 17 key figures
5. Preparing communications and addressing information requirements on financial year plan topics for various stakeholders such as IT and controlling colleagues, business units and auditors
Your Profile
6. University degree with a quantitative focus (e.g. mathematics, actuarial science, information technology, or economics)
7. Experience in an actuarial role (e.g. Reserving, Pricing, Risk Management, Controlling, Underwriting, Insurance Audit). Knowledge of IFRS17 is a strong asset
8. Strong affinity for working with large data sets and experience with programming languages such as R and SQL
9. Excellent analytical and conceptual skills as well as the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
10. Self-motivated team player with a focus on pragmatic development of innovative concepts and solutions
11. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
